The hostel which was constructed by the RSDP project was finished and it caters around 20 boys.
The School is headed by Mr. Sangay with 4 male teachers, and 5 NFE centers in the Gewog was established in 2008 which have around 70 NFE learners.

Profile of Sangbay Gewog
Sangbay geog is one of the remotest of gewog in Ha Dzongkhag. It takes officially 4 days of tedious walk from the nearest road head to the Gewog centre. Gewog has an area of about 432.8 Sq.Km (approx.) with 6 “Tshowogs” (Shabjee, Sangbaykha, Nakhekha, Nakha,Yaba & Mochu). All the Tshowogs are scattered into 13 villages with 183 households.
The altitude of Sangbay Gewog ranges from 1400m to 2100m above the sea level. The climatic condition of Sangbay Gewog varies from warm in summer with heavy rainfall and hailstorms and cold dry in winter. The Gewog has 85% of forest coverage and it has
